Tasting Note: Argentinian red from old vines, the fruit overlaid with fumes of chocolate and tobacco and a sprinkling of black pepper.
Food Matching: Ideal with grilled red meat, stews and casseroles.
Vineyard: Sourced from 50 year old Mendoza vines grown in deep and stony soil.
Vinification: Unamime is hand harvested in small plastic bins. Fermentation and maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks for 19 days at 23-25ºC before a natural malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels.
